Energy Lock is a retrofit/home energy consultancy that believes making changes to a property to boost energy efficiency should be straightforward, expert-led and client-focused.
We want our clients to feel empowered, informed and at ease after approaching us for energy advice or retrofit work. That’s why we guarantee that if you instruct us to carry out work to meet your energy needs, your project will undergo a rigorous quality assurance process, with all work personally approved by Energy Lock before completion. You’ll also have one clear point of contact so you know who to call to get answers to your questions. This is the Energy Lock Guarantee.
Our Story
Founded in 2022, Energy Lock (known then as L.Retrofit) was set up as a home energy consultancy to serve the changing needs in the construction industry.
UK homes contribute to 20% of the carbon dioxide in our atmosphere, and in order for the UK to reach Carbon Net Zero by 2050, the UK government needed qualified professionals to make changes to thousands of buildings that would mean they use less energy.
With 15 years in architecture and project management, Energy Lock founder, Leanne Madden, was perfectly placed to gain retrofit accreditation and satisfy a growing list of clients who want to make fundamental changes to a building to make it more energy efficient.
